1. Who we are

This website is operated by Swiss Creator Lab ("we", "us"). For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at hello@swisscreatorlab.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is needed to operate and improve this website:

• Usage & analytics data — pages viewed, buttons and links clicked, scroll depth, approximate location (derived from IP), device, browser and operating system, and referring website. This is collected via Google Analytics (see section 4).
• Technical data — your IP address and standard server log information processed by our hosting and analytics providers to deliver and secure the site.
• Information you send us — if you email us, we receive the content of your message and your email address.

We do not run a contact or sign-up form on this site, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.

3. Why we use it & legal basis

We use this data to understand how the site is used, measure interest in our events, improve content, and respond to your enquiries. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and your consent where required for analytics cookies. Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), processing is carried out in good faith and proportionately.

4. Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4), provided through Firebase by Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, to collect anonymised usage statistics. Google sets cookies and similar identifiers to recognise returning visitors and measure traffic. This may involve the transfer of data to servers in the United States; Google relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.

You can prevent analytics tracking by using your browser's privacy settings, blocking cookies, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on. Disabling these cookies does not affect the core functionality of the site.

5. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed by the service providers we rely on to run the site, including Google / Firebase (analytics and hosting infrastructure). These providers act as our processors and are bound to handle data only on our instructions.

Links to external platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp and YouTube are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies once you leave our site.

6. How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics (by default up to 14 months) and then automatically deleted or aggregated. Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@swisscreatorlab.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown above.
